Prompts

A prompt is a saved AI instruction, written in plain language and kept in your workspace so everyone works from the same wording. This page is where you create, edit and delete them.

Creating a prompt

  1. 1

    Open Prompts

In the sidebar, go to Workspace → Workspace Settings → Advanced → Prompts.

  2. 2

    Click "New Prompt"

A Create Prompt window opens. On an empty workspace the same window opens from the "Create Prompt" button in the middle of the page.

  3. 3

    Set a name

Fill in the Prompt Name, such as "Follow-up Task Creator". This name is what you pick from later when you use the prompt.

  4. 4

    Write the prompt text

Write the instruction as plain language. It is sent to the model as you typed it, so keep it short and say what kind of follow-up you want.

  5. 5

    Click "Create"

The prompt appears in the list. Click its row any time to open it and Save Changes.

Writing the prompt text

Write it the way you would brief a new salesperson — plainly, and short enough to read in one go. For example:

Prefer a phone call for contacts we have already emailed twice without a reply. Use email for anyone we have not contacted yet, and social engagement when we have no phone number or email address.

Managing prompts

  • Edit — Click a prompt's row to open it, change the Prompt Name or Prompt Text, and click Save Changes.
  • Delete — The trash icon on the row removes the prompt. Anything that was set to use it needs a different prompt picked.

Best practices

  • Say plainly what you want and leave out anything the model cannot know about your contacts.
  • Write one prompt per situation (early outreach versus late-stage follow-up) rather than one prompt for everything.
  • Give a prompt a name you will recognise later, since the name is what you pick from in a list.
