Alerts

The Alerts page holds organization-wide email alerts. Today it has one: the Contact Activity Reminder, which nudges teammates who have stopped adding contacts.

Who can change it

Owners. Anyone else who opens the page sees “Only organization owners can manage alert settings.”

Turning on the Contact Activity Reminder

  1. 1

    Open Alerts

In the sidebar, go to Workspace → Workspace Settings → Advanced → Alerts.

  2. 2

    Turn on Contact Activity Reminder

Use the switch on the Contact Activity Reminder row under Email Alerts. The change saves straight away.

  3. 3

    Choose who gets it

Under "Applies to roles", click Owner, Manager, Sales Person or Operator to include or exclude that role. At least one role must stay selected. Owner and Sales Person are selected by default.

How the reminder works

  • Once a day, Booked55 checks each member who holds one of the selected roles.
  • Who gets an email — Anyone who hasn't created a contact in the organization in the last 2 business days.
  • Business days skip weekends and public holidays in the United States and Canada. The organization's Holidays calendar isn't used here.
  • Only verified accounts — People who haven't verified their email address aren't emailed.
  • One email per person — Someone who is quiet in several organizations gets a single email listing all of them.

The reminder is off for new organizations until an owner turns it on.

Alerts and the AI assistant

An owner can ask the AI assistant to turn the reminder on or off or change its roles. It shows the change as before and after on a confirmation card, and nothing changes until you click Confirm.
