Holidays

The holiday calendar tells Booked55 which days nobody in your organization works, so the tasks it creates for your team don't land on them. It combines a country's public holidays with your own custom days off.

Who can change it

Owners. Anyone else who opens the page sees “Only organization owners can manage the holiday calendar.”

Setting up the calendar

   Open Holidays

   In the sidebar, go to Workspace → Workspace Settings → Holidays.

   Choose a Country

   Under Holiday Calendar, pick the country whose national holidays your team takes off. Choose None to use no public holidays.

   Add custom holidays

   Under Custom Holidays, click "Add holiday" for each company day off, such as a founding day or an annual retreat. Give each one a date and a name. Use the trash icon to remove one.

   Click "Save"

   Every holiday needs both a date and a name before it will save.

You can add up to 100 custom holidays, and each name can be up to 100 characters. If two custom holidays share a date, only the first is kept.

What the calendar changes

Holidays apply to tasks Booked55 creates on its own. Each person's own working days and out-of-office dates (Profile → Schedule tab) are combined with the organization's holidays to decide whether a day is a working day for them.

• Sales Activity tasks — A daily activity is skipped on a non-working day. A weekly, monthly or yearly one moves to the person's next working day. See Sales Activities.
• Other automatic tasks — When Booked55 picks a task's date itself, such as a referral thank-you task, a recurring task from a pipeline stage's Activity Frequency, or a CSV import row with no task_date, a date that falls on a non-working day moves to the next working day.

Holidays and the AI assistant

An owner can ask the AI assistant to change the country or the custom holidays. Saving replaces the whole custom list, so the confirmation card lists what will be added and removed, and nothing changes until you click Confirm.
