Pipelines & Stages

The Pipelines & Stages settings page is the central place to manage all pipeline configurations for your workspace. From here you can create new pipelines, edit existing ones, and delete pipelines you no longer need.

Pipeline list

The settings page lists your pipelines as cards, one per row, in order. Each card shows:

  • A grip handle and the pipeline's position (1, 2, 3…).
  • The pipeline name, with its description underneath (“No description” if it has none).
  • How many stages it has.
  • A Delete Pipeline (bin) button.

Click a card to open the pipeline editor. There is no separate Edit button.

Reordering pipelines

Drag a card up or down and drop it where you want it. The new order saves as soon as you drop. There are no move up or move down buttons.

With the keyboard, tab to a card, press Space to pick it up, use the up and down arrow keys to move it, and press Space again to drop it. Press Enteron a card to open it.

Creating a pipeline

Click “Create Pipeline” to open the pipeline editor. See Creating Pipelines for the full guide on naming, adding stages, and configuring automations.

Editing a pipeline

Click a pipeline's card to open the pipeline editor. You can:

  • Rename the pipeline or update its description: click the name at the top of the page, or the description under it, type the change, and press Enter. Each one saves by itself.
  • Add or remove stages.
  • Reorder stages by dragging a stage card by its header (the top part, with the stage name).
  • Configure stage automations for each stage, from the pencil (“Edit stage”) next to the stage name at the top of a stage card.

Pipelines & Stages is in the menu for owners and managers only. Everyone else can still read a pipeline's settings: the gear beside a stage's name on the pipeline board opens the editor on that stage, with everything locked.

Deleting a pipeline

Click the bin (Delete Pipeline) on the pipeline's card and confirm. This removes the pipeline, all its stages, and all pipeline items. The contacts themselves are not deleted, but their pipeline history for this pipeline is lost.
