The Data & privacy tab of your Organization settings holds the choices about how Booked55 handles your contacts' data on your organization's behalf. Owners and managers see the tab; other roles do not. It has one setting.

Automatic contact enrichment

When this switch is on, a contact that is created or imported into your organization is filled in from third-party business data providers: job title, company, location and LinkedIn. Only fields that are empty are filled; nothing already on the contact is changed. New companies are looked up the same way, from their website address.

The switch is on for every organization until an owner or manager turns it off. It saves as soon as you flip it; a toast confirms Automatic contact enrichment turned on or turned off.

When it is off

• New and imported contacts are saved exactly as entered. Nothing is sent to a data provider.
• Enrichment you ask for by hand still works: the Enrich button on a contact and the Enrich bulk action look people up when you click them, whatever the switch says. See Contact Enrichment.
