Contact Detail
The contact detail page is where you see everything about a single contact. A header runs across the top, three columns of cards sit below it, and under those is a strip of tabs — Tasks, Conversations and Deals. On a phone the columns stack into one, in the same order, with the tabs last.
Header actions
The header carries the contact's name, who they are assigned to, their company, and four actions:
- Client status — A badge reading Client or Not a Client. Clicking it toggles the status; once someone is a client you can also set the date they became one.
- Enrich — Looks the person up and offers what it finds field by field, so you apply only the values you want. See Contact Enrichment.
- Send Email — Opens the email composer for this contact.
- Add Task — Creates a task against the contact. It appears on the Tasks tab and in Daily Tasks.
The name, the assignee and the company are edited from the header itself rather than from a button: click the name to rename, click the assignee to reassign, and use the pencil on the company chip — Change company, or Add Company when there is none yet — to link a company record.
Profile picture
The circle beside the name is the contact's picture, or their initials when they have none. Point at it and a camera appears; click it to open Profile picture. There you can Upload from computer: choose any picture, drag it into place and zoom until the face fills the circle, then click Save picture. Only the part you framed is saved, shrunk to a small file, so a large phone photo is fine. Or paste the address of a picture on the web and click Use this picture: Booked55 downloads it once (a PNG, JPEG or WebP of up to 5 MB), crops it to a square around its middle and keeps its own copy, so the picture stays even if the original is taken down. Remove picture goes back to the initials. Anyone who can edit the contact can change its picture, and it then shows wherever the contact's circle appears, in the web app and the mobile app.
A contact with no picture gets one by itself when enrichment finds a profile picture for them. A picture you chose is never replaced that way.
Pipeline, event and client type
The first column holds the contact's relationships. Each card shows what is set and, when nothing is, an empty state with the button that fills it in:
- Add to pipeline — Choose a pipeline and a starting stage. Once set, the card shows the pipeline, the current stage and the item's value, and you can move the contact from here. See Pipeline & Event Assignment.
- Add to event — Link the contact to an event. A contact can be linked to more than one.
- Client type — The client type this contact belongs to, if your workspace uses them.
Referrals sits under those cards, in the same column.
Contact details
The middle column holds the contact's own information:
- Basics — Email addresses, phone numbers, address and personal details.
- Social media — Facebook, Twitter / X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Website and TikTok. Only the platforms that have a URL are listed; use the add control to fill in another.
- Tags — Free-text labels you can then filter the contacts list by.
Fields are not edited one at a time. Click Edit to put the card into edit mode, change as many fields as you like, then Save — or Cancel to drop the changes.
Notes
The Notes card sits in the third column, under Relationship Goal; Referrals is in the first column, under the pipeline and event cards. On a phone the page is a single column, and the card comes after the contact's details and Relationship Goal, just before the tabs. It is one dated list, newest first, of everything written about this person — not only the notes typed on the contact herself, but also the ones written on her tasks, her deals and her pipeline item. A note typed while completing a call shows up here without anyone having to copy it across. Notes on an event attendance are the exception: an attendance record is about a team member being at an event, not about a contact, so its notes stay on the record itself.
Every note carries who wrote it and when:
- Author and date — The person who wrote it, and the note's own date. A note that has been changed since is marked edited.
- A badge when nobody typed it — Notes written by the system say so: Meeting bot (a call summary), Email sync, Integration (imported from a connected system such as GoHighLevel), Import, or System. Notes your team typed carry no badge.
- Where it came from — A note written somewhere else shows a chip such as on task · Follow up call, which opens that record where it has a page of its own.
Automated notes — the ones written by the meeting notetaker, the email sync, an integration such as GoHighLevel, an import or the system — are always shown, in the same newest-first list as the notes your team typed. The badge is how you tell them apart: a note without one was typed by a person.
The card holds every note loaded so far in a scrolling area about four notes tall, and loads more as you scroll toward the bottom; a Load more button does the same for keyboard users. A long note is cut to four lines with Show more and Show less to open and fold it — the toggle appears only on a note that is actually longer than that.
Once there are more than four notes, Search all notes opens the full list, with a search box. Search matches the text of a note, not the name of the person who wrote it.
The box for writing a note is kept out of the way behind an Add note button in the card's header, so the list is what you see first. It opens on its own only when there are no notes yet, since on an empty card there is nothing else to show. Type your note and click Save note; it saves on its own, not as part of any other edit. Editing and deleting are limited to the person who wrote the note, plus owners and managers — the pencil and bin appear only on notes you may change. Deleting a note removes it everywhere it appears, including from the contact it rolled up to.
Tasks tab
The tab the page opens on. It lists the contact's tasks — calls, meetings, follow-ups — with a count beside the tab label when there are any. Add one with Add Task in the header, and complete, edit or delete from the list. See Daily Tasks.
Conversations tab
View email conversations and communication history with the contact. If you have connected your Gmail integration, emails sent through Booked55 will appear here along with any replies.
Deals tab
The revenue this contact has produced. The tab shows a count of deals and a table of them, with the Date, Value, Description, Product/Service Type, Pipeline and Assigned To of each. Add Deal opens the deal form; the pencil and bin on a row edit or delete one. A contact with none reads No deals for this contact.
Referrals
The referrals card shows contacts referred by this person and contacts who referred them. Referrals are tracked as a key metric on the Scoreboard and help you understand your network growth.
