What an Event Organizer Sees
When you join an event through its organizer's Booked55 link, the page has a box: Share anonymous event stats with the organizer. This page says exactly what that shares, and what it never does.
What the organizer sees
With the box ticked, your event is counted in these totals. Each one is a number for the whole event, added up across everyone who is sharing.
| Total | What is counted |
|---|---|
| People sharing | How many of the people who joined through the link are sharing. |
| Contacts swapped | How many of them scanned or added at least one contact at the event, how many contacts were added in all, how many on the event's own days, and how many in each hour of the event. |
| Follow-ups | How many of those contacts were followed up with a completed task, and how many within 48 hours. |
| Responses | How many of those follow-ups got a response, as recorded on the task. Booked55 doesn't read anyone's mailbox for this. |
| Meetings | How many of those contacts had a meeting, lunch, dinner or visit within 30 days after the event. A count only, never when or where. |
| New customers | How many of those contacts were marked as a client within 90 days after the event. |
| Who was met, in groups | How many of those contacts fall into each of 12 industry groups, five company-size bands and five seniority levels. The organizer sees the size of each group, never a company or a job title. |
Only contacts that are attached to that event in your Booked55, and assigned to you, are counted. A teammate's contacts are theirs to share or not.
What the organizer never sees
- Your name, job title, company or email.
- The name, company, job title or contact details of anyone you met.
- Deal amounts, notes, email content, or when and where a meeting is.
- Anything in your Booked55 that isn't attached to that event.
- Which person any total comes from. There is no list of attendees.
Small groups are hidden
A total is shown only when at least 5 of the people sharing are behind it. Below that the organizer sees Fewer than 5 in its place, so a small number can never point to one person.
Counted whether or not you share
The organizer also sees how many people joined through its link, and how many of them created a new Booked55 account. Everyone who joined is in those two totals, sharing or not. They name nobody, and are hidden below 5 in the same way.
How long it lasts, and turning it off
- It ends by itself one year after the event's last day, unless the organizer's link sets another date. Once you have the event, the date is shown under Profile → Privacy.
- You can turn it off at any time under Profile → Privacy. From that moment your event is left out, and the organizer's totals are worked out again without it. You keep your account and the event.
- Only you can turn it on. The box is never ticked for you.
When the link asks everyone to share
Some organizers' links are only for people who agree. On those you can't sign up, or add the event to an account you already have, without ticking the box. If you would rather not, use the link under the box to sign up for Booked55 without the event's link. See When the link asks you to share.
